Some questions refuse to leave us alone. Such as questions about who we are, what we’re here for, how to heal, what to believe, and where to go next.
We live in a world overflowing with information, yet many of life’s most important questions aren’t really asking for information. They’re asking for wisdom.
AskJeanie was created for those kinds of questions.
Search engines can find millions of results in seconds. AI can generate answers almost instantly. Yet many of the questions people carry aren’t really information problems.
Questions about purpose, relationships, faith, work, loss, identity, and what matters most often require something more. They require reflection, wisdom, and sometimes simply a better question.
The idea for AskJeanie grew out of the life and learning journey of a woman who spent years asking those kinds of questions herself. Her path included time at Stanford, a lifelong love of learning, and countless hours exploring big questions about faith, meaning, relationships, and what it means to live well.
An important influence along the way was St.Aub, whose exploration of the Godward life and soul wellness resonated deeply with many of the same questions. The conversations and ideas that emerged from that partnership helped shape the perspective that informs AskJeanie today.
Jeanie discovered that wisdom is rarely found in a single book, person, or answer. More often, it emerges through curiosity, conversation, experience, and a willingness to keep searching. And over time, those questions, experiences, and insights became the inspiration for AskJeanie.
Jeanie isn’t a real person, though she’s inspired by one. She’s also not simply an AI chatbot. Think of her more as a guide—one shaped by trusted resources, thoughtful reflection, human wisdom, and modern technology.
Jeanie won’t always give you the perfect answer. What she hopes to do is help you think more clearly, discover helpful resources, ask better questions, and perhaps take one meaningful step forward.
Because sometimes what we need most isn’t more information. It’s help discerning what matters.
